The box cut-out (called also “pre-cut”)
must closely match the handles used
Bag-in-Box (BIB) boxes can be made out of corrugated board (two sheets of paper glued to a corrugated inner medium called fluting) or solid board (without the inner fluting) but in all cases the flat boards are pre-cut before being folded into boxes. Box manufacturers require a precise indication of where the handle holes should be placed, as well as their size, so that errors are not made which would lessen the performance of our handles or our automatic handle insertion machine.
Customers should provide their BIB box suppliers with the following cardboard box cut-outs drawings (or refer them to this page in our website).
